Healthy drinks. Syrup of roses with vanilla.



Ingredients for preparation  of Syrup of roses with vanilla:

rose petals

• 3 liters plain water

• 1 kg of sugar ( or honey)

• 1 vanilla pod

• The amount of petals can not specify, but the idea is to use a small bag full with rose petals , I think around 30-40 Roses.

• We break and wash rose petals. We put them in a large pot. We add 3 liters of water. We let it boil. You will see that the petals lose their color by transfer it to the fluid. The we’ll drip the water with flowers, we’ll add sugar and we’ll mix with a spoon. We’ll put it back on the heat and we’ll  let it  simmer.

• We’ll split a vanilla bean, carefully remove seeds and we’ll  put it them over syrup. Let it simmer on medium heat for about an hour or an hour and a half. You will see that the syrup begins to solidify. After it had boiled enough,  we’ll give it away from the fire and we’ll  leave it a little to cool, then we’ll transfer it into glass containers and  we’ll store  it on ice.
