Does Sculptra really work?

Sculptra is an injectable filler used in the rejuvenation of the face. Sculptra is a synthetic polymer of alpha-hydroxy acids family, it is biocompatible (does not generate rejection reactions in the body) and biodegradable ( it is completely metabolized and eliminated by the body). The basic substance (poly-L-lactic acid), has no toxic effect, it is physically and chemically stable, it is used in medicine for over 30 years, especially in the composition of absorbable suture materials. Sculptra treatment is designed to model the facial volume and is used for correction of wrinkles and grooves -moderate or severe.

Sculptra injection , where is Sculpra injected?

Sculptra is injected into the deep dermis or subcutaneous tissue. It not requires prior injection of anesthesia. The product contains microparticles of poly-L-lactic acid, a synthetic polymer families alpha hydroxy acids. After the Sculptra injection, the particles of the poly-L-lactic acid produce progressive stimulation of the synthesis of collagen by the body. The effects are visible after 4-6 weeks of administration. The recovery process after treatment with Sculptra is extremely rapid, requiring only one day to recover.

Side effects of Sculptra:

Possible side effects of Sculptra may be related to the Sculptra injection process, such as discomfort, redness or bleeding at the injection site. Other adverse effects may include the formation of small lumps under the skin, particularly when the product is administered in a high concentration.These formations are generally invisible to the eye, only to palpation it feels that area and usually can be resolved without medical intervention.

Who uses Sculptra?

Sculptra is generally used by people to correct shallow to deep nasolabial fold lines or smile lines and other facial wrinkles, the results being amazing. Keep in mind that this dermal filler is not made for the forehead or eye area.

How often Sculptra?

A treatment session with Sculptra lasts 10-15 minutes. It takes 2-3 sessions every month. The effect of Sculptra treatment  remains for 25 months.
